A Typical Day at Camp
Action-packed from morning to afternoon
Every camp day is a little different. Activities and rotations may change based on the group, ages, energy level, and flow of the day.
Activities shown are examples and are subject to change. Not every activity is offered every day. We keep things flexible and think of camp as one big, fun gym class where everyone is included and bullying is never tolerated.
Campers are always encouraged to come to our counselors with questions, concerns, opinions, or simply to tell us how they’re feeling. We especially want our younger campers, ages 8 and under, to feel comfortable and supported. We generally pair them closely with a counselor, often Kyle or Mr. Lou, so they always have someone they know they can go to.
Please encourage your child to talk to us about anything, big or small. We’re always keeping an eye out for them and want every camper to feel safe, included, comfortable, and able to have fun.
$$ Early drop-off (7:45 AM) and after care (4:00 – 5:30 PM) available for an additional fee.

Safety is a major priority. Campers are supervised throughout the day, protective equipment is used when required, and activities are organized and staff-led. Younger campers are assigned 1:1 counselors when needed, but campers can talk to any of our counselors at any time.
Our facility is primarily indoors and climate-controlled. Staff also receive training on camp procedures, supervision, safety expectations, and emergency response.
Camp begins at 9:00 AM with morning games and activities. Campers then move through staff-led game blocks, team activities, snack breaks, lunch, a quiet reset period, afternoon activities, and final games before pickup. It’s a big fun gym class with lots of activities.
Activities may include Laser Tag, DodgeArrows, Nerf, dodgeball, kickball, soccer, LED Putt Putt, relay races, team challenges, and more.
Our camp is intentionally run more like a big, action-packed gym class than a rigid hourly schedule, so activities and rotations may change based on the group and flow of the day.
YES, we are now a peanut and tree nut-free facility. If you have a severe nut allergy, still bring your EpiPen because mistakes can happen where campers bring nuts.
Parents must notify us of all allergies and relevant medical information before camp begins.
All allergies and important medical information must be listed on the camper’s registration forms before camp.
If your child requires an EpiPen or other emergency medication, any required authorization paperwork must be completed before attendance.
Camp staff may assist with approved emergency medications according to our camp policies. Parents should contact us before camp if their child has medication needs so we can determine whether appropriate accommodations can be made.

Children should not attend camp if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or symptoms of a contagious illness.
Campers should generally be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning.
If a camper becomes sick during the day, a parent or authorized guardian will be contacted for pickup. Missed days due to illness are not eligible for refunds or make-up days.
Parents must notify us if their child has an open wound or any medical condition that may be contagious prior to camp starting.
Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes, such as sneakers or tennis shoes.
Flip-flops, slides, and sandals should not be worn for camp activities. Crocs are okay. A light sweatshirt is optional because our facility is air-conditioned.
For big group field trips (birthday-adjacent, homeschool co-ops, or private group requests), contact us at 443-214-3545 or Camps@DodgeArrows.com.
Personal electronics and toys should remain put away during regular camp programming from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM unless staff specifically allow them during a quiet activity period.
Campers attending early care may be permitted to use a book or personal device during that quieter period.
We do not provide secure storage for personal electronics, so anything brought to camp is at the family’s own risk. We provide general open cubbies for campers.
99% of our camp activities take place indoors in our climate-controlled facility. We do go outside, but it’s very rarely.
On rare occasions, staff may choose to do a short outdoor activity when weather and conditions are appropriate, but families should expect DodgeArrows camp to be primarily an indoor experience.
